I'm not Dead but I still don't Sleep.

Just hibernating a little bit.

Which in my case means writing a lot, putting the finishing touches on some projects, and booking shows for the New Year.

Yay!

Hope all is goodies with everyone reading this, let's touch base on some updates and such, cool? The 'Keep It Rural' project is finally done on my end and those involved. I probably should have put this out last year but DJ's are a tough nut to crack sometimes (with a smile). Next step is mixing and mastering which will be done by the homie Matthew Sawicki at Suburban Pro Studios in St. Louis, Mo. This will be Volume 1 (more to follow) of a series with DJ Pain 1 on the beats, an occasional guest producer from time to time. I've already begun writing and recording Volume 2, so keep your eyes peeled as a release date for the first will be announced soon!

As far as shows, I have a bunch of stuff lined up right now. Starting March 4th at Peabody's in Oshkosh. I always wanted to continue the "Get Up! Get Up! Get Outta Here, Hip Hop!" series and I think this is a great night and lineup to bring it back to life. Peep the flyer below.

Next up is March 11th at Reptile Palace in Oshkosh with IndyGround family Dom Chronicles and Scotty Wu. Might be some other talent on the bill but this is what's cracking right now. Come see some fresh Hip Hop from Kansas City yo!

SXSW...

The journey continues when myself, J.B. ILL, Taiyamo Denku, and RichardGriecoSuave make route to Austin, TX for SXSW. On the way down we have shows in Dubuque, IA (TBA) on March 15th and hopefully Iowa City, IA (TBA) on the 16th. We will be playing at the festival March 17th through the 20th (TBA), or something like that, let's see what happens, haha. I'm super excited to finally get down there for it, definitely waited way too long. Will post on this soon as everything rolls through. Come see me be me being me and dorking, in Texas.

ps... Also have a spring into summer tour with my man Coolzey being worked out right now, we shall call it the Duh Tour!? We will also keep you informed of this in the following weeks.
